Welcome to the network for Nordic Philosophical Practitioners

Philosophical practice is an international movement of trained proffessionals who use philosophy in dialouge with people. We follow in the footsteps of Socrates and our idea is to bring philosophy into society since we recognize its value outside of the academy.

There are practicing philosophers in Iceland, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden with national associations and/or activities for those interested in philosophical practice in each country. The Nordic network is not an association of its own but more a logical unit uniting the Nordic associations.
